This Weekend-New Items

Hi Ladies! I'm hoping to get get new stuff up this weekend in the shop. I have a lot of things sitting on the shelf that I haven't yet had time to photograph and inventory, etc. But what should be expected in the coming days? I'm making a little list below, sort of a way to keep myself accountable ! :-)

-Neon Purple glitter
-A few small metallic glitters
-velvet nail powder in several different colors
-tiny little beads to do caviar manicures
-an accessories kit for mixing your polishes, it will include a palette for swatches yay!
-more glitter mixes
-squeeze bottles

and....
suspension base! Yay! But sadly this will only be available for the 48 continental states, I know it's a bummer.

well I'm going to do my best to make sure it all goes up this February weekend.

Neon Purple Glitter

I got in some neon purple glitter this week! It's not up in the shop yet as I'm seeing how it holds up in polish. I've had it in the suspension base I'll be carrying for a few days now. It's bleeding a bit, but it hasn't bled anymore than it did on the first day. It hasn't curled though so that's a plus. I'll make it available probably in another week or so if I don't see any curling for anyone who'd like to have it. So if you don't like bleeders this glitter won't work for you, but if you're able to use them to your advantage then it's definitely a pretty glitter.

I've also ordered some more neon samples from a new manufacturer, so I'll see how those work out, If they're fabulous I'll be ordering a lot to make available in the shop!

Suspension Base

A while ago I bought some suspension base for the shop. Over this weekend I finally found some time to break it open and give it a go. It's pretty nice and clear, easy moving and is suspending nicely so far. I made a quick little polish with the suspension base using a variety of different size glitters.

I'm going to start off offering this in smaller sizes: 4 oz, 8 oz, 16 oz. I'm also going to be offering sets of 2 oz with color pre-dispersed in them. I have to work out which colors I'm going to make though. They're won't be fully opaque, more to come on that. 

1 Year Anniversary

Hi gals! I'm nearing my 1 year shop anniversary on January 13th. It's been a great year and I've had a lot of fun and look forward to another wonderful year. As a thanks to all my wonderful customers I'm going to be having an anniversary sale on the 13th. What I'll do is post up a coupon code here and in the shop announcement. Most likely I'll get the code up this Saturday so check back for all the details.

Dreaded Postal Increases

Hi All. I just want to let you guys know that postal increases will be coming to the shop toward the end of this month.

What will this mean for US customers?
The shipping costs for orders that weigh 1-13 ounces will remain the same. Orders that weigh more than that will see a slight increase that is yet to be determined. While I currently offer free shipping on domestic orders of $75 or more at the end of the month this will changes to a flat fee that is yet to be determined.

What will this mean for International customers?
The shipping costs for lightweight items will see a significant increase. 1 ounce packages will increase to $7 USD and 2 ounce packages will increase to $7.25 USD. All other weights will cost more than that to ship. I'll be sure to give more details as we get closer to when the change occurs.

As always you can feel free to contact me about your order before purchasing in order to receive a better combined shipping rate.

Hi gals and guys! I'm moving the blog over here to blogspot with the intentions of providing a lot more content in the coming year. You can expect to find a plethora of things on the blog in the coming months including polish ideas, diy crafts, contests and of course promotions from time to time. I'm hoping to give you all a chance to give input as to which new glitters to stock as well as to feature various polishes and their makers. So stop by from time to time :-).

Speaking of promotions the first one I will be running in this new year will last for the month of January (possibly longer-we'll see). I often get questions about ordering samples and so I'd like to give everyone the opportunity to get 1 set of free samples to try out some of the different glitters I carry, the  only thing I'll ask you to cover is the shipping costs. You'll be able to pick 3 different samples from any of the glitters (including mixes) that I carry in the shop and will recieve 1/2 tbsp of each of your choices. The shipping cost for those in the US will be $2 and the shipping costs for those outside the US will be $3.50.
